Peter Chen, Founder of HyperPlanar
Peter Chen is a distinguished business leader in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence
(AI), and data science, renowned for driving transformative business outcomes. With over 25
years of corporate experience and a proven track record across multiple industries, Peter
seamlessly blends strategic business acumen with advanced technical expertise to solve complex
challenges and propel organizations forward. As the Principal and Founder of HyperPlanar, an
AI/ML/DS consulting firm, Peter has successfully served clients across various industries and
engaged in collaborative work that has led to academic research publications. Notably, his
collaborative work in Machine Learning with the UC San Diego School of Medicine has resulted
in academic publications with the potential to advance healthcare using AI/ML. Peter has
demonstrated exceptional leadership in building and scaling high-performing data science teams
at innovative startups and has held pivotal Vice President roles in major corporations. His
leadership has consistently driven growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. Peter holds a
Bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and two Master’s
degrees from Harvard University.

Suresh Manandhar, PhD
Dr. Suresh Manandhar, with 35 years of AI expertise, holds a PhD from the University of
Edinburgh, UK. He has led the AI Research Group at the University of York, UK, and served on
the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology. As CEO, Chief Scientist, and
co-founder of Wiseyak, and Head of AI Research at Fusemachines, he has driven AI innovation.
His functional expertise includes description logics, knowledge graphs, machine learning, natural
language processing, deep learning for medical image processing, content and link analysis,
consulting and research, organizational strategy formulation, and building AI teams and
products. Dr. Manandhar has published over 150 papers, with an H-index of 33 and 7000+
citations. His work is accessible via Google Scholar and DBLP.
Hemanta Shrestha, PhD
Dr. Hemanta Shrestha is a versatile business leader with over 20 years of experience in
Corporate America. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Connecticut in
Hemanta has successfully co-founded two tech startups, Wiseyak and NumericMind, both
with proven track records. As an experienced data analyst and data scientist, he possesses strong
analytical skills and has more than 15 years of expertise in corporate strategy and financial
planning. Currently, he leads two startups with a combined team of over 80 employees, including
an offshore team based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
